Waiuku College is a Co-Educational High School from Years 9-13 with 930 students. The school motto is a Maori expression, ‘Titiro Teitei’ which exhorts members of the school community to aim for the best in all they do.
Waiuku College’s students achieve highly in a wide range of areas, particularly academically with consistently high pass rates of over 80%. Numbers achieving excellence endorsements are high. Another of the school’s strengths is the strong links it has with the students’ parents, the town of Waiuku and the wider West Franklin community. The help and support they give the college is a wonderful advantage for the students.
Nestled in the heart of the scenic and historic Waiuku township, members of the school are also fortunate to live amongst an attractive rural and farming environment with wild west coast beaches, the meandering Waikato River and the wide open Manukau Harbour all only minutes from the school.
